Due to the creation of this website, I got to attend the guard exchange and go to the president’s house in Ecuador and was part of an interview.

Me and my family. FRONT ROW: Joaquin, Me and Emilio. BACK ROW: My dad and My mom. We are at an event where we personalized our own coke bottles. I made two with my best friend's names.
My name is Paula Aponte, I'm 20 and currently in 12th grade, I was born in Bogota, Colombia on July 9, 1997 but I only lived there a few years before I first moved away from my birth place. I was born with a difficulty to walk. I took years of therapy to hopefully walk and the effort worked. I was also born with a general developmental delay. My whole life I have had extra teachers in the classroom helping me and other students be successful in school.
Then I moved to Mexico, where I stayed there 4 years and I still had to take therapy. And then I had to move again to the Philippines, which is in Asia, and we lived there for 5 years. This was my very first time away from Latin America. I didn't have to take therapy anymore.
The reason my family had to move a lot is because my dad works in Coca Cola and many people want him to go to different places. I have two younger brothers named Joaquin and Emilio, Joaquin is currently 12 years old and Emilio is 14. My mom's name is Maria Isabel Archila and my dad is Guillermo Aponte.
We are now back in South America in Ecuador. On January 2015 we got a new member of the family, our dog Pogi. My brothers and I go to school in Academia Cotopaxi Quito, Ecuador.
I'm interested in every thing related to fashion, nail art, watching videos on my laptop and on TV, spending time with friends and family and I enjoy dancing. I'm fluent in English and Spanish and started taking interest in ASL or American Sign Language, in fact I was going to study ASL in collage, But ASL is not my current interest anymore.
I began taking interest in ASL because I watched this show called "Switched at Birth" on Netflix witch involved sign language. After watching that show, I thought that ASL looked really interesting and cool so I started looking for online classes, and I found a YouTube channel by an ASL professor at a university, his channel is Bill Vicars. I also like watching ASL songs on a YouTube channel called thedailysign.
My new career idea is interior design because I really enjoyed decorating my room and I realized I really enjoy decorating and watching "Property Brothers"
